  1.     You shouldn't bathe her, birds know how to bathe when they need to,that may be the problem, you may be causing the skin to dry out,she may also be starting to molt which is normal, but you may want to see a vet just in case.

She may have a sickness go to the vet im not a bird expert :D

But i heard somewhere - it COULD have a sickness..

Also please check its eating habits and its stools every day it should be in the range of normal stool color and not abnormal color of stool,feet,and/or feathers

  3. She is probably just molting. As the above user said, mist her with water from a spray bottle. Do you have an aloh vera plant? If you put of of this in the water, or buy a bird bathing spray that contains this, it could help reliever her itchy skin that comes from molting.

  4. That is not her skin, it is the sheath of her new feathers growing in, it is keratin. She is molting and it is normal. It is also normal for dander to fly off when she shakes out her feathers. And, despite what has been said, you should mist her regularly. Especially if she is enjoying it New feathers growing in are very itchy and the misting and bathing feels so good for them. You can tell if she is enjoying it if she opens up her wings for you as you're misting her. If she does not like the misting then give her warm water in a shallow bowl and allow her to bathe herself. You've seen birds bathing in puddles, right? Birds love to take baths. As for the flakes and down feathers, this is normal and common for birds, so you should get used to it. :)
