My little brother finds it funny to get a pooper scooper and pick the crayfish up from the tank, have it about 1-2 feet above the water and flip it and drop it back in the water and repeat the process. I have asked him and asked him to stop. I come back outside 10 min later and he is still doing it. I yell at him and he storms upstairs telling my other brother he hates me. Now I come home from work, and the crayfish are dead. Can flipping them like my little brother did kill them or hurt them enough to kill them? I have been feeding them regularly with shrimp pellates, have burrowing gravel and kept water temperature as it supposed to be. I even gave it a couple gold fish. Thank you for your time.
