I have a pet free home.I sprayed and bombed in last 2 weeks.Tired of using chemicals. suggestions?

We had a cat before with apparently more fleas (or eggs..it had been a few weeks)than thought. My child likes to lay on the floor so I really don't want to use more chemicals

Steam them! I used a steam cleaner on the carpet and the furniture and it got rid of them finally!!
