  1. Like whisperer said, you may want to try live food, or smaller food. I also have 2 firebellied toads. I feed them live crickets and meal worms. If he doesn't eat, maybe he doesn't know how. You should get and adult and feed it, so the little guy can see what he is supposed to do with the food. You could also try takeing tweisers, and waveing the food in front of him.

    I hope this helps!

  2. try flies or pinkies. What I found says insects or small animals... Hope the flies work out.

  3. alot of times they wont eat dead food my bf has a  tarantula and she will not eat dead food it has to be alive but thats the only idea i have

  4. are you feeding it live food? what kind of toad is it? I have a chinese firebellied toad he only eats it if it moves also you might want to try smaller food

  5. You can feed it fruit flies, pinheads, or waxworms.  Did you just acquire the toad?  If so, then it will probably take a few days for him to start eating.  I've dealt with frogs for a few years, and most will not eat until they are settled in.  Also, he may only eat at night; i've had amphibians who were VERY picky about when they ate.  Good luck!

  6. maybe you should go to a pet show and ask what do toads eat. maybe it is a special food

  7. You can do the crickets and ants, I wouldn't do the slugs.

Mealworms, calciworms, regular worms, and nightcrawlers are good.

Some petstores also sell fruit flies, which would be perfect!
