I have a phone but needs a sim card..?

I have a sgh t709 samsung phone from t-mobile. But it does not work at all because I a need a sim card. Can I use any t-moblie sim card? Currently I am not planning on getting a phone plan but I just want to be able to access my phone because with out a sim card I cannot even see the date and time or take pictures with it. And one more thing, I would like to use the sim card later on when I do decide to get a plan but can I use the card for a pre-paid plan from t-moblie or would I have to get a regular plan?

Hi, if it is a sim card then that means your phone is GSM. Yes, you would need to get a sim card. Just go to T mobile or any other vendor that offers GSM service. Get a prepaid plan and they will register your phone.

You don't need to have a monthly plan for the sim card to work. Prepaid is fine.

If it is a GSM phone you will be able just to stick any T-Mobile SIM in it and wala it will work. Call T-Mobile and ask them if the Samsung T709 is a GSM phone hope I helped =)
