I have a phone interview for a position as editor of a magazine at university. What kind of questions should i expect?

  1. Most of the telephone interview will be about your character and whether or not you might fit into the magazine's editorial mix.

    Stand during the telephone interview so your diaphram is not confined and your voice will have full range and you will not sound nervous.

    The interview will probably be about your past experience and qualifications -- but you know all this.  And to assess how you might function under deadline pressure.

    Are you familiar with Chicago Style and/or AMA Style?

    Have you done any writing? (Usually editing and writing go hand-in-hand).
