I have a piercing question...?

got my second holes at claire's and its been 6 weeks.

i cleaned my ears (like they said) and picked out another pair of studs to replace them with

okay, so i take one earring out and was in the process of pushing the replacement earring in when the earring got stuck (the replacement one)

it wouldn't go through....is there something wrong?

i cleaned the hole and everything, but the earring wouldnt go through. the only one that did go through was the one that claire's had pierced it with so i put that one back in the hole. im upset though, becuz i was looking forward to changing them.

is this normal? are you supposed to push the earring through, becuz it was rather painful when i pulled it out.

okay WELL you made a stupid mistake by going to claires.

getting your ears pierced by a gun is the worst you can do.

and they give you ALL the wrong info.

im guessing they told you to clean it with peroxide or rubbing alcohol? with a q tip?

are you sure the earrings are the same size... most holes are pierced at 18g and you may have bought 16g studs... once your holes completely heal you should have no problem getting them in.

you're most likely not fully healed..

i would wait to change them

but if your set on changing them i would put an earring through the back and use it to push the front one out then push the back one out with the one you want in it..

it sounds like it takes some time but it only takes a few seconds..

i did my second holes myself with safety pins (dumb i know (but i didn't get and infection:])) i went to a christian school with an extremely strict dress code and they made me put earrings in them the day after i did them and that's how i did it.

just make sure the earrings are clean..
