I have an old type toilet which has a rubber pipe coming down from the toilet into the floor.I have recently discovered a small pinhole in this rubber pipe and a stream of water is shooting out from the hole.Is there a sealant or glue I can put over this hole,to stop the leak????

  1. use a little bit of mighty putty on the hole. put a Self Vulcanizing Tape and a s***w/band hose clamp around it so the pipe can not expand and wait until you get another leak on another place so you have to replace the pipe.

  2. Due to fact there is pressure there and that it is rubber you would find it hard to find a glue to fix that . My suggestion would be to wrap it with some plastic tape and fit a hose clip from a heater hose on a car over the point of the leak. Just unscrew the hose clip all the way and wrap round the pipe and do it up again tight.

  3. The only way to repair it is to replace it.Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!
