I have a pit bull that has the coloring of a tiger & I was told that he was Brendel. Is that becuz his color?

He's male, 8 years old and weighs 115 pounds. His coloring is not exactly the same as a tiger. It's more of a light brown base with blackish and dark brown stripes placed in different places. They don't go from side to side in straight lines. He is also mixed with lab. He has the face of a lab and the body of a pit.

Yes, brindle refers to a color mixture.  I have a greyhound who is blue brindle.

Brindle.  There are darker hairs that form bands on a lighter background.

I had a brindle greyhound.

"Brendel" sounds like the name of a monster, like my favorite, Grendel.
