I have a plasma 40 inch TV it is nearly 2 years old and sometimes it makes weired creaking sounds?

the make is an hitachi,is this usual for plasma TV

It is probably from the heat it gives off, that creaking sound

It becomes cool then hot etc. etc. Plasma sets really get hot

and that is why they don't last as long as LCD or other types of TVs. Not to worry though,  if every thing looks good.
