I have a plasma tv that is rather old, and stopped working can you please help.?

I have an old plasma tv that turns on and everything, only problem is there is no picture. Can you please help me to diagnose what is wrong with the tv? Is it possible to fix old plasma tvs or do you just throw them in the garbage after they do not display a picture anymore? Any help or advise is greatly welcomed! Thank you.

Do you know what model it is? And brand? What year did you buy it?

Her is a suggestion that I have done in the past. Take the TV to a repair shop. They will give you a price to repair it. If The price is something you feel comfortable with, have the work done, If not simply give them the TV and go buy a new one. Either way you dont lose. If the price to repair is reasonable you have saved money, If not at least it did not cost you anything on a TV you would have thrown away.
