  1. You cut your own "ridge cap" like here in the diagram..start from the bottom of each ridge and overlap each cut shingle/cap...you nail the nails in the black area of the ridge cap so the next one covers the nail..once all 4 sides are ridged out...and there may or may not be a top ridge...then do the top..starting at one end working to the other end..You will have a total of two nails showing on the very last ridge cap..top it with roofing cement..if there is no top ridge and all 4 sides meet at top..then simply put a cap over it

  2. if you are using asphalt shingles cut one to fit over the peak, slice it halfway off to one side, then wrap and nail to fit the peak.if you shingled all the way to the peak you shouldn't have any leaks. if you are using metal or other material, there should be a cap piece that you can buy.

  3. buy a cupola. It will also help vent the playhouse on hot days. Or go to Lowe's or HD and look at gazebos for ideas.

  4. If nobody gives a better way, use a tube of silicone.  There shouldn't be much of a gap if you've done a good job of the rest.  Otherwise you'll have to use flashing (as it's known where I come from) and cover it with that, fiddly but that's the usual way.
