  1. NO U DON'T I HAVE A PLAYSTATION 2 AND I DON'T HAVE A MEMORY CARD FOR IT EVEN THOUGH WHEN I PLAY GAMES IT KEEPS ASKING ME YOU NEED TO GET A MEMORY CARD INCASE YOU NEED YOUR GAME SAVING BUT I ALWAYS IGNORE THE COMMENT BECAUSE YOU DON'T REALLY NEED YOUR GAME SAVING DO YOU??? IT WON'T MAKE A CHANGE TO THE GAME OR ANYTHING.

  2. Yes you need a memory card I`m afraid. Try somewhere like cash converter or Gamestation. You should be able to pick one up used for around 3 quid.

  3. you need a memory card.

  4. yeah you need a memory card

  5. You need a memory card to save the games.  You can play without one but none of your progress will be saved.

  6. You need a memory card if you want to save games

  7. yes

  8. to save games, you'll need a memory card - they're not very expensive nowadays, but can you save thousands of games on an 8MB one.

  9. Most games on the PS2 require a memory card so that way you can save your progress and go back to where you were last so that way you don't have to start over from the beginning!  That sucks cuz it happened to me before blah!

  10. you need a memory card to actully save and game progress. Dont take any notice of the so called built in memory

  11. yes,u do need it.i am suffering 4 i don't have a memory card.

  12. you do

  13. You only need a memory card if you either want to save the game, keep all the progress you made on the game, and so you can take the card to a friends house and you can even return to the game where you left off. It can store progress you've made up to that point.

Without a memory card, you will always have to start the games from the beginning. It would be just as if you just bought it.

The memory in the ps2 is ok but your better off with a plug in kind with a lot of memory.
