I have a potted plant, how many times should i give it fertilizer per day?

don't worry about the age but on a average scale,how many times?

you should only fertilize your plant like once every 3 months.  You only need to water it  every couple of days

I fertilize indoor plant "regularly" - just use a liquid (like VF-11 or other commercial indoor plant food) mixed in your watering can - even every time you water, but at least once a month for "happy" plants.

The plant stakes also work fine (continuous fertilizer) but I don't use them - you do it once then forget until the plant starts to look weak 'cause it ran out and you forgot to put in another!

just water your plant once a day & use fertilize about the start of season of that plant (almost after every 4 to 5 months).
