I have a potterton performa 24 combi boiler. When i start the DHW , the boiiler starts and the water gets hot

from the tap, but when the burner goes off and water gets cold but the burner doesnt ignite automatically for the hot water while the water runs on continually and the cold water comes all the time, unless we turn the tap off and then on again.

Could be a sensor fault or it could be a fault with the divertor valve.You need to call a corgi heating engineer to diagnose the fault correctly.

sounds like the dhw diaphram -------------but also could be the sensor

Agree with Foobix. I've seen this problem on the Performa and it was the temperature thermistor.Get a Corgi engineer to repair.
