it says "Windows Media Player cannot find the specified file. Be sure the path is typed correctly. If it is, the file does not exist at the specified location, or the computer where the file is stored is offline." I made the presentation at home and now I am at work. How do I get this to play on a computer other than my home computer?

  1. well, you need to copy the youtube video on CD-R too, and put it and powerpoint presentation in the same folder.

  2. so when you converting your PowerPoint,  do you put your YouTube video and PowerPoint in the same folder and then reinsert the video?

Generally speaking, we can embedded wave files, I think you cannot embed youtube video.

You should: 1, download the YouTube file then convert it to the format WMV, AVI or some other format witch can insert into PowerPoint. There is an article tells you the details on how to: http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/blog/2008/04/2...

    2. insert the converted file into PowerPoint.

    3. burn it to CD/DVD, you can even play your PowerPoint on DVD player.

I use wondershare PPT2DVD to do this.

  3. The YouTube video must only be a link. If you have the link on your PowerPoint presentation, then you must have internet access on the computer you're trying to play it from.

  4. Have a try to burn your PowerPoint presentation to DVD with a professional tool in this area.

You can download a free trial version here from Acoolsoft:

    http://www.ppt-to-video.com/powerpoint-t...

With only 3 clicks, you can burn your PowerPoint presentations to

DVD with transitions, animations, sound and movies retained.

You can even create flexible DVD Menus for your PowerPoint presentations to play on TV with a DVD remote control.

You can read more about this tool from:

    Hope it helps!
