  1. That depends on the tank size; the temperment of the geckos towards each other; and several other factors like do you plan to hatch the eggs?

Once she lays them, they can't be rotated, or the developing embryos will die.  So, if you think the male is going to go into the moist spagnum moss hide that you provide for her to lay in?  Well, then yes, she needs to be alone.  But, if you have other hides, and he has a favorite he occupies mostly without her - they should be fine.

I separate my females which are about to lay, so I can control where they leave the eggs.

Once she has laid them, don't rotate them.  Mark the top of each with a Sharpie, and then carefully transfer it to the moist vermiculite you have prepared for them.  Place them in the incubator (which you will already have running and adjusted, etc.), and wait.  Voila~!

I'll post you a few sites below to check out when you have time.  The 2nd one covers breeding geckos, and how to deal with incubating the eggs.

    Good luck!

I hope this has been helpful.

  2. it is ok but check every day if she laid them if she does take them out and inqubate them
