I have a pregnant hamster question

Ok like in my other questions my hamster is pregnant. Well her teats are showing so she is near giving birth. I read on a website, the temperature can have more in the gender of the pups. Well it says the warmer the temperature, more boys and the cooler it is, more girls. Well what temperature will it be more boys and what temperture is more girls. Well our house's temperature is usually 75 to 80 degrees. We have our air conditioner set to 77. If we keep the temperature like that. Will we have more girls or more boys?

well if i were you i would keep it really cold so you could get more girls because girls are more valuable and cost more money if you sell them so you will make alot more money if you have all girls so i would keep the temp at like 60 digree's because the pregnant hamster will feel more comfotable and yoy will have girls or atleast have a better chance of getting more girls well good luck

Yes, I read about that too. That sounds like a warmer temperature. Maybe she will give birth to boys(: But who knows?

It doesn't matter what the temperature in your house is.  The gender of the pups has already been decided.

They are talking about at the time the babies were "made" did you buy the hampster pregnant?  Or did it get pregnant at your house?  It doesnt really matter the gender.  Make sure to separate any other hampsters you might have in the same cage as the mom and babies. they could eat the babies.

the temperature doesnt matter, then genders are already decided. she will have her babies no matter what

If she is close to giving birth, their gender is already set. The temperature theory has to do with the breeding and early pregnancy part of it.
