You can still here water running in it, but won't flush. Is there anything I can do on my own to fix it?

  1. Use a plunger.

  2. I would check the linkage from the handle first.  It sounds as if something broke, not allowing the unit to be engaged.  These type of toilets are a real pain, and unless you are very familiar with them, very hard to work on.  If it is more than a simple rod connector or something easy for YOU to fix, I would suggest replacing the toilet with a more modern low maintenance type toilet.  If the date on the toilet is older than 1993, it is a large consumption toilet anyway, and not water conserving.  Good luck!

  3. pressure tanks generally just die.  no adjustments can be made.  be ready to shell out some $$$'s for a repair unless you replace the necessary parts yourself.

  4. Yes! You need to wait for awhile and let it charge back up, Just don't go in there for 15 20 mins and leave the fan on, It will build up pressure and then you can try again,
