I just downloaded the adobe photoshop free trial for 30 days. When I opened it and after selecting "I want to try this out for 30 days" it says there was a problem from the loading of the photoshop. Ive reinstalled it many times and the same message came up. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

  1. This is a known problem and has two probable causes.

Firstly it happens when you download a large program like photoshop, that some of the files corrupt in the transfer process. The only cure here is to download again, but at 464 Mb that's not a nice option.

Secondly I've come across cases where some dll file on Windows does not install properly during installation. Photoshop uses a lot of native windows software resources and is extremely finicky in start-up when it actually make connections with the windows environment. Something as trivial as a faulty font installed on your system can make Photoshop refuse to load.

Unfortunately there's only 2 choices in my opinion: either download again, or re-install windows. Neither of them are nice options though.

As a last resort, (or maybe you should give it a try) you can run a registry cleaner. That also sorted out some of my photoshop problems in the past.

Hope this helps. Nice computing :)
