  1. You can't have an interview at the Embassy until you have had your physical exam.  St Lukes also stamp your passport and keep it to send to the embassy.  Then after your interview they will also keep your passport and then later send it to you in a sealed package.  You can then take out the passport but don't open the inner sealed package.  They will do that at LAX or wherever you enter USA.  Also expect several hours delay when you arrive in USA the first time.  Don't book a connection flight from your point of entry too soon you'll miss it.

  2. miss, you're flying in from davao going to manila for the med exam at st. luke's and the embassy interview, right?   i suggest you call st. luke's again; follow-up your request for appointment. also get your plane ticket to manila soon. if appointment at st luke's still not with you. just go there. bring all your papers with you. they will help you. then go to the embassy for the interview.  good luck.

  3. Don't get a plane ticket unless you have already your medical examination schedule and done of your interview. What visa are you applying? If you applied for a visa going to US you will receive a packet from the embassy of the United States of America informing you the documents you will need to prepare including your schedule of medical exam and St. Luke will send you a letter of appointment. If you have already your interview schedule then you need to ask the embassy about the appointment schedule of your medical exam or you may call St. Luke's Extension Clinic located at 1177 J. Bocobo St., Manila, Tel Numbers 521-0020 and 521-8647 and verify if the embassy inform them already about your schedule. Good luck for your interview!

  4. until you finish your medical exam, you can't be interviewed yet in the embassy.in my mother's case, since her medical exam got delayed,st.luke's informed the embassy to reset the scheduled interview at another time.so best thing to do is finish the medical exam first.you can call st. luke's first if you want to follow it up yourself.

  5. i just got my wife & my son recently, my wife recieved a letter that they will contact her for scheduling intervew. after she got the interview

they told her when and what time is her appointment at St.Lukes . there are two location now one in The main St.lukes hospital since there is a lot of poeple waitng there they schedule my wife at St.Lukes medical Clinic. Its a small one but worth the wait. So you have to wait for the embassy to contact you make sure your landline phone & cell phone are open at all times. we got the call around 2PM in the afternoon.

  7. Don't get a plane ticket just yet. You need to have your medical since the results will be mailed to the embassy adn they will look at it during your interview as well. Make sure to call the embassy and check with them why you haven't gotten your Appointment letter or call  USCIS. This should be done before the interview.
