I have a problem with a PV-GS15 panasonic camcorder.?

Question

I have had this camera for a couple of years. It has been working fine until before a couple of weeks. The camera won't playback and if it does it has blue stripes. I bought a DV cleaning cassette. I used it and it still doesn't work. I am not sure what the problem is it might be the drum. If it is the drum how would I be able to fix it. If it isn't the drum then what is it and how can I fix it? THANKS!

I had the same problem with a Panasonic Camcorder a few years ago.. If the cleaning tape doesn't work, there's nothing much you can do.. It's pretty much dead.. Trying to fix it will probably cost you more then buying a new one..
