I've had a problem with commitment since I could remember, It's effecting my life more then ever, Im 19 years old and I have the world in front of me, there's so many thing I want to do and there's so many things I could do. But I'm the type that believes anything is possible, so I'm afraid to commit to one thing because two seconds later I want to do something else.

  1. You are young, and you like excitement.  Do you want to commit?  If you really want to change, then you will.  Realize that when you commit, you are not throwing other opportunities away, it simply means that you are finding what works for you.  You just may not be happy with your options.  Also, if your standards are too high, and you expect things to be perfect, you won't commit either.  There is safety and stability in commitment, and as someone who is a big believer in commitment, I can assure you, it gets you in many more places than to not be committed.  (Example:  committed to a loving relationship, committed to studying, committed to caring for others)

Commitment is excellent if it is something healthy that you are committed to.  Find what makes you happy and stick with it.  If not happy, lower your standards a little.  Good luck and I hope this helps!

  2. I'm the same way. But only 20.

  3. ME TOO.
