I understand that it's important for rabbits to hop around outside of their cage. But he likes to eat my plants and chew on cords. How can I stop this? Can he be trained ? If so? ... How?

  1. I had rabbits. I found that the only thing I could train my rabbits for was potty-training with a kitty corner litter thing. Besides that, they'd still eat my wallpaper and chew on my nintendo controller. Sorry. Rabbits are tough to train. Just take away any cords and plants away from their reach.

  2. By a run there not that expensive and they come with shade to keep your rabbit cool in summer we have one to stop our rabbit being eaten by foxs or cats You don't have to watch them that way as well

  3. make a fence for him to contain him using wooden stakes and chicken wire.

  4. Rabbits eat plants and chew cords because it is instinct. You need to keep the plants and cords out of his reach. It's called rabbit or bunny proofing.

It's easier to keep things he should not have out of reach, especially the cords. Rabbits can bite through a cord faster than you can scream no. You might not only lose an expensive cord, but your rabbit. Rabbits can be eletrocuted or burned by biting into a cord. They can even ruin your electrical equipment or even burn down your house.
