I have a problem with my computer.?

Question

When I went to load the Spore Creature Creator my computer crashed.

Also now if I try to run almost any .exe file that will use almost any graphics it will start up then just turn itself off.

My computer won't do a system restore, my anti-virus says no viruses, I updated my graphics driver, and my harddrive doesn't have any errors.

Does anyone have any idea on how I could possible fix this problem. Everything I try doesn't seem to work.

Try replacing the graphics card?

Other than that, try to do a complete system restore.  Insert the recovery disk at start up and follow the on screen directions.

Some computers have a partition on the hard drive to restore it.  You'll have to find out which function keys to use to access it.  With a Dell laptop, you hit Ctrl + F11.. with a Dell desktop, you hit Ctrl + F12

So basically anything that uses 3D or DirectX/OpenGL crashes?

I would try reinstalling directx, and if that does not work I would remove Spore, run ccleaner, and reinstall DX once again.
