Question:

I have a problem with my eyes...?

I don't know why, I feel uncomfortable with my left eye these days. It feels like there's something there. I've already tried to wash it a couple of times, also tried to use some eyedrops. But they didn't work at all. Still feeling the same way until now. Also, if I look at bright colours, mostly white, there's a very tiny circle that always follows my sight. What's happening with my eye? I'm so scared...Is it cataracts? But I'm still 18....I'm afraid to see a doctor...I'm afraid of the results..Need some help here...Thank you so much...

  1. It sounds like your left eye is having an allergic reaction to something. When I get my allergies I develop mucus on my eyeball that follows my sight. The mucus develops because something irritated your eye or eyelid and is trying to protect your eye from being further irritated. If you wear contacts, take them out. The eye doctor most likely will have you use an allergy drop or a topical steroid to help  cure the inflammation. No worries, most likely some kind of allergy. I know I am going through the same thing right now and I am hoping as the allergy season progresses it will improve. Keep in mind we can develop allergies at anytime in our life, even if we didn't have them the year before.

    Hope that helps.
