  1. ur gonna have to call the phone service who ur through an have them to resove the issue for u....

    good luck

  2. call repair service. Sounds like water in the phone wire or a bad protector.

  3. Try to unplug the phone modem for 30 sec-1 min then plug it back in. Give that a try.  Also make sure that everything is plugged in all the way, and that the phone cords are all intact, including both ends of the cords. I have had this problem before, actually more than once- a couple of times it was the cords, most of the time it is the connections. Once I needed a whole new phone modem.  Your provider should have a web site you can access customer service thru as well. If that doesn't work, maybe you could use someone else's phone to call? or go to the office? Good luck hope this helps.

  4. Go outside to where the main phone line comes into the house and there should be a box. Open the box and there is a phone plug, un plug the line that is there and plug your phone directly into that plug and check if you have dial tone there. If you do there is a problem inside the house, since your internet is working it could be the jack you have your phone plugged into.  If you do not have dial-tone at the box the problem is in the phone companies line or equipment and uou would have to either call them to get it fixed or your can  report it online if you company is AT&T and probably most other companies

  5. Are your phone filters attached?

Unplug the modem and then try to make a call. Does anything change?
