Hi everyone. I own a 2g ipod mini (6gb). A few weeks ago, the ipod would not turn on using the batteries. I thought the batteries were just exhausted, so I charged them overnight. When I woke up the next morning, it was still charging! I then thought that my battery might have died. (it only works when it's plugged in. But when you remove it, the ipod doesnt respond at all.) So I ordered a replacement battery from ebay.

I successfully replaced it, and to my dismay, it still had the same problem. I read on some forums that restoring your ipod may solve that problem. I want to restore it, but here comes the problem.

When I insert my ipod into the usb port of the pc, the charging symbol appears and not the apple logo. The charging symbol is even FROZEN. It wont reset or anything. What should I do? Help would be really appreciated! Please?

  1. Errr.....

    Simply put....

    Get a new iPod.

There's cheaply made, and we all know that. When they get to that stage, it's best to just get a new one.

  2. I think you can send it in too apple and they well fix it for you!! It might cost some though!
