I have a problem with sound?

Question

i have downloaded a 1080p movie, and it's in a .mkv format.

i do have sound, but it's laging a bit, it's like when you put a cd in with scratches on it. it keeps conecting and disconecting very rapidly, if you know what i mean, i never had this problem with any other 1080p movies.

can this problem be from the movie it self?

or can it be something else, what can i do?
