I built 7 different pages using Macromedia Fireworks for www.rubyandpin.com (these pages are Home/About Us/Creations/Creations 2(Not on the Navigation bar)/News/Shop/Contact Us). From there, I exported them individually to the images folder of my root folder of my website - Ruby & Pin. When I exported them to here, I said to include all images and slices and put them in a sub-folder in images. I did this for all the pages. Then I created a template page in Dreamweaver, made 7 different pages from this template (called index.htm/about_us.htm etc) and then I imported each of the seven fireworks html's into each respective dreamweaver page. When I was previewing all of these pages in a browser from both fireworks and dreamweaver, it didnt show up that there was any problem with any page but since I have uploaded my site to the internet (www.rubyandpin.com) there is the narrow border on the left side of the Creations page (which is not on any of the other pages) and also there is an X in the place of the donkey picture when I click on that image to show the detail of the donkey (the donkey is on the 2nd row/third from the left on the Creations Page). All the other images when clicked just remain as they are but only the donkey image doesnt.None of the other mini icons have this problem and all of them were given the same attribute. How do I fix this?

  1. Well, I can't see the faulty border in Firefox. IN IE it appears and it looks like an empty table cell. I suspect that if you count up all your rows and columns (taking into account any rowspan or colspans) you'll find some inconsistencies.

As for the donkey, I don't have the same problem as you, but navbar_creations_r11_c6_f3.jpg can't be found, so that might be something to do with it.

  2. Really sorry i cant help with all the technical side but regardless its a fantastic website! Really simple but effective! Great job!

  3. way to confusing
