I have a problen growing grass can you give me a name of a grass seed that will grow anywear?

when i worked in apartments, our landscapers would use rye grass seeds in the winter months.

iv found  it best to use the cheapest grass seeds around  iv used them and it works well good

i dont remember what kind i bought, but i got it from Valu.  i asked for hearty, grows anywhere, sun/shade seeds.  then i put down nice topsoil AND put down miracle grow dirt too (just a sprinkling of each to have a nice start) and then the grass seed on top of that and watered.  boy did it come out good!!  miracle grow, miracle grow, miracle grow!  lol  good luck :)

its called smart seed...you can get it at Lowes or Home Depot..its drought resistant....
