I just Googled 'Antivirus 2009' it is a fake program that may contain malware. Try that, for further help.

My "Mcafee SiteAdvisor" let me know that several of the sites listed were dangerous.

Run Disk cleanup.

Go to the 'Control Panel' and 'Add and Remove Programs'.

See if it is listed there.

Have you cleaned out your Internet Cache lately?

Assuming you have Windows and Internet Explorer:

There is several routes to get there.

Go to your Control Panel, then 'Internet Options', then on the 'General tab' click on 'Delete' You can delete all the files there.

It is a virus, do not open it up or anything, it pops up for me to, I got rid of it, but I can't remember what I did, it took me a few hours though.

It is a rogue anti-spyware program similar to the well known XP Antivirus rogue application.

Download and install SmitfraudFix

After you download and install restart your PC in safe mode with networking

Double-click on the SmitfraudFix.exe icon then follow the screen instructions. Option #2 should be selected in this case.

i think so... it's a virus...

try downloading/installing:

1) SpyBot - Search & Destroy

it's a really good one...

The only thing is that... a long time ago, i had this crappy computer; SpyBot have been detecting all of these viruses, but... it just took about 3 hours to scan viruses... but if ur PC is "not-that-crappy", SpyBot will scan for approx. 15 minutes...

2) Ad-Aware

one of my friends had installed this b4 on my PC thru a package (CD), and it's REALLY good... not bcuz it's called Ad-Aware necessarily means it's only for "adwares" ... it actually detects all types of viruses on ur PC...

but if u don't want 2 buy a package of it, u can just download its free version:

Also, try scanning ur computer DAILY (well, if u use it daily)... that's what i do...
