I have a property tax problem and dont kno what to do?

my property taxes are over past due i dont kno which way to turn for help or what to do before its too late i was thinking just sell the property would that be a bad idea or what

Guess what happens when you sell the property?  Your property taxes will be taken out of the settlement.  You are going to pay the taxes one way or the other.  There is no quick way out of this.

The real estate taxes need to be paid under any circumstance.  If you continue to ignore paying these taxes, the tax assessor can sell your property to any interested investor for back taxes and the only way that you will be able to maintain ownership is to pay the investor the amount that he paid plus interest.

Have you given any thought to obtaining a mortgage in order to pay these taxes, i. e., if you don't already have a mortgage?

If you do not pay them they can foreclose on you. Go down to the office and talk to them.
