I have a push lawn-more, it is a Briggs & Stratton 4.0 HP I'm looking to find a spring patern?

it is the springs near and under the filter and gas tank, I need to put the two of them back on

Look on your motor and find a plate listing model number and serial number. Go to this site (Parts site for briggs) and look up diagram (there should be an exploded diagram showing parts configuration, and one for part numbers)for your motor numbers.
