I was wondering what would the causes be of this rare eye condition I've had all my life. Right now as I type this on the computer I have a hard time keeping my eyesight moving from left to right constantly.

This isn't a massive movement. Maybe a few millimeters. But it is constant for whatever minutes it lasts. It goes away for a few minutes and comes back. It repeats for about half an hour or so and then it goes away until the next time i get. which is not often at all.

I've always had it. I can recall it happening when i was a kid and was under high stress situations. ( crying, getting reprehended by the school director, etc etc )

Now it will happen at random times and is very likely due to stress from working on my computer 8-11 hours a day.

I feel no pain, no sickness, just annoyed. I can tell tho that i'm a bit more tired than usual from lack of sleep and too much work.

So, just wondering if this is a medical condition that can be treated. or if its normal.

  1. discuss this with an opthalmologist.  till then, limit the activities which seem to stress your eyes.

  2. See an ophthomologist for a full evaluation. The sooner you get a real evaluation of your symptoms, the better it is for you. Our eyes change over time and heredity plays a part. Find out what the vision history is in your parents and the rest of the family.

Get a medical evaluation and find out exactly what your issues are.
