I have a question, ever since I got a kidney stone..?

Ever since I got a kidney stone (it's gone now, but the doctor says that since I've had one I'm prone to them), I get random sharp pains in my kidney and upper back. They only last a few seconds but it's still annoying and painful. Can someone tell me what could be going on?

It could be another stone.  If you have one, you are prone to get more....drink plenty of water, and follow your doctors advice!!
