Okay so I use to be a brunette and today I went to the salon and got my hair dyed to light blonde color. The problem is I don't think this color suits me at all. Now my question is if redye my hair using a dark brown store bought dye, would it make my hair darker? and would it make my hair fall out?

  1. Wait a few weeks,

    maybe two to three,

and redye it with a very light brown from a store.

  2. itll make your hair brown how yu want it & maybe prettyer since the brown will be lighter since your drying it over the blonde & of course some hair will fall out not alot! but some, because the thing inside the dye kills all the dead cells in your hair , so itll leave it beautifull

  3. Ok if you can afford it....GO to a salon in a week or two and get it fixed.  I've had huge problems with trying to fix colored hair on my own.

I have naturally light bonde hair and got highlights and they put a toner on it and it turned really dark. When I tried to fix it, it looked orange! Eventually the salon got it back to a nice blonde with Gwen Stefani highlights.

Putting dye on top of lightened hair can have a variety of results.  Go for a light brown to start.  Your hair is weaker than it was before, so use a deep conditioner and try to avoid direct sun on your strands.  Also if you can avoid heat styling...your hair will love ya!

Good luck I know how it feels to hate a dye job haha

  4. wait about a week before redying, and DONT dye it dark brown, dye it a medium to light brown or else your results will almost be black, your hair wont fall out, but afterwards use a deep conditioning treatment

  5. Personally I would wait a bit to keep from to much damage and you will get use to it.You will probaly like it after you get use to it.  This is the effect it had on me.
