  1. you have to be a member in a 4H club in your community.

  2. You can show your rabbit at fair if you're a member of 4-H.  To find a local club, call your county extension office and ask to talk to the person in charge of 4-H.  Ask that person for contact information for the 4-H clubs closest to you that are accepting new members as well as the nearest ones with active rabbit groups.  You'll get a lot more support in a club with a rabbit group *but* most clubs will let you join a group from another club for an activity they don't offer.

Call the group leaders and club leaders and ask them about their clubs/groups.  Clubs and groups can differ greatly in attendance, participation, and community service expectations.  Once you find a group just fill out the paperwork which isn't much more than identifying and contact information.  In our state the only fees are $5 per individual (or $10 per family) to participate in fair and then more money if you need cage or stall space.

    Good luck showing your rabbit!
