I have a question about Body Building?

I have asked a few questions here and I have been body building for a few months. So far my routine is:

Day1-Chest, Tri's, Shoulders

Day2-Back, Bi's

Day3-Legs

Day4-Rest or Repeat Day1 depending on how I feel

Alls I take is a multi-vitamin and protein shake. I used to take creatine and No2 Black but discontinued use because everyone says it messes up ur kidenys and liver and I dnt want to take the chance.

Alota ppl have been saying that I have gotten alot bigger in the past few months but I really dont see a difference. Are they trying just to be nice or am I really and just not noticing. Also, if it is just them being nice, how long will it take before I start seeing big results?

  1. WELL IM A BB MYSELF..WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IS WORKOUT MON AND TUES AND TAKE WED OFF.AND THEN GO AGAIN THURS AND FRI....SO YOU CAN ATLEAST GET REST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK. TO SEE RESULTS IT TAKES ABOUT 6 WEEKS

  2. I have been taking Creatine, now I am taking an NO2 pre workout formula, I haven't seen any negative effects. I have heard if you have kidney problems, it can negatively effect them! If you are healthy and have never had any problems with your liver or kidney, you should be ok! Creatine is a great and powerful tool for body building! Do some research (check out bodybuilding.com for dozens of great articles regarding creatine).

When I started lifting, ALOT of people started noticing (I didn't), but several people started asking me if I was lifting or what I was taking to get big! It can take several weeks to notice a difference...everyone is different! I think you should def see a difference in about 6-8 weeks!

Keep up the hardwork!! Theres no better feeling than seeing your hardwork pay off!

  3. you didn't mention anything about your diet.  Don't forget to feed your muscles with some good lean protein.  Other people will always notice before you do.  Keep it up, I'm sure you'll start noticing to.

  4. I think you have a great routine started. It was a smart choice to discontinue the use of creatine and No2 black.

People aren't lying to you. What about people who haven't seen you in a while, or the ones that don't know you've been working out. Honestly, people won't say you look bigger out of the blue. If you ask them and they say yes, that's one thing...You don't see the difference because you look in the mirror everyday and you cant see the full 360 view like everyone else. Keep up the good work :)

  5. if you are going to train 3 days in a row I would put Back & Bi's on Day 1 and Legs on Day 3.  they are the 2 biggest bodyparts and require the most amount of energy to train effectively.  this will allow your CNS adequate recovery time between the training of those major body parts.  the CNS requires a longer recover period as does skeletal muscle.
