I have a question about Cedar Point roller coasters. ?

We are going to Cedar Point very soon. I was looking on the website about the rules. They said that some overweight people may not be able to get on the coasters because of the safety harness. We went to Kings Island a couple of weeks ago and she had no trouble getting on any of the rides. She weighs around 220 pounds. Will she have any trouble getting on the coasters at Cedar Point? I tried to contact Cedar point directly, but kept getting an error notice.

Blue Streak is probably out, very tight seats. Mine Ride is another one without much room.

Most of the bigger coasters have tester seats by the gate so that you can try them out before waiting in line, so I suggest trying that. They will not give you an weight limit if you call, it really is a size issue and not being able to buckle the belt. Some, like Millennium, have a newer rule that a certain amount of the black part of the seat belt must be showing, in other words, it can't be pushed to the limit.

I see a lot of people who wait in line for an hour, and then can't get the belt buckled. They then have to get out of the train in front of everyone and exit. So, like I said, definitely try the tester seats where they are available (I know the following have them: Millennium, Raptor, Maverick, Wicked Twister, Max Air)

It really depends on how the weight is carried, I'm a pretty big guy and I rode just about everything.  The ones I couldn't ride were the following:

* cedar creek mine ride

* Blue Streak

The following rides were a very tight fit (I needed assistance getting locked in) :

* Wicked Twister

The following rides were close but was able to ride:

* Millennium Force

* Top Thrill Dragster

* Raptor

* Mean Streak

* Mantis

Everything else I had no problems

Most rides will be fine, but a couple like blue streak she may not be able to ride, but most of them will be fine.
