I have a question about Experian's Triple Advantage credit monitoring service?

I would like to stay on top of my credit information as much as I can. I was thinking about signing up for Triple Advantage through the Experian site, and have been doing a little investigation. Almost everything I have read has been about how people were pissed off for being signed up for it through freecreditreport.com without understanding they would be when ordering the report. But nothing about the service. Well I wanted to see if anybody on here has it and is happy with the service and uses it regularly to stay on top of their credit. Any info would be really helpful. good or bad (except for complaints about being signed up for it without knowledge)

  1. I just tried the free 30 days, and you know what for the $14.95 a month I am going to keep it. Good quick reference, notifications of changes just feel safer with it, and if there is a problem you can dispute it online

  2. I have it. I think it is fine. I have not had any problems and it seems to be accurate. I actually got if for free because I applied at Old Navy awhile ago and something happened to their human resources files and they gave everyone that they had info on a year of free Triple advantge service just in case their identities had been stolen I guess. Anyway I think it is fine. They even send you emails when something changes on your report which is helpful because I don't look at it consistantly. Also I don't know how those people could have been tricked into signing up and paying for it. They should have realized they were being charged when they had to put in payment info??? If a website says something is free and then asks for payment info I usually just leave.
