  1. Idk, is it sort of like this?

Or this? (the one below belongs to a member of Conceptart.org, and I've forgotten his username but it has the word Devil in it, I believe. The rest above belong to me)

A style is a style, and you can probably get into drawing like a particular style if you get into a frame of thinking like the artist's.

Styles change in time, as people do, with their desires, their understandings, and their situations.

Do you see how mine changed? I listed them in chronological order.

The first picture was sketched out mostly, and then I inked it (I made some stuff up as I went along, and this accounts for most of the sketchiness-- you can't erase ink! and time was in shortage).

I wanted it to look as good as possible, so I tried a new method when inking-- to think wood as I drew wood. (it made a difference-- the panel 4 tree is the before, and panel 5 tree is with that thought)

The second picture was without pencil sketch... my ideas were unsure, but in the end they took this form. It was in pen and I tried to revise the hand as much as I could to make it look nice.

The third picture, I was just having fun. I wanted to draw something cool, something flashy-- my friend had requested that I draw her a dragon for her birthday. The type of dragon I had in mind was something serious, dramatic maybe, but I felt strained with that. Yet I started with drawing something in that mindset... but soon I figured there doesn't really have to be any pressure in art. And even though I wasn't thinking of the image initially, my idea of a dragon rolled into something I felt comfortable with: an old dragon in a swimsuit. Actually it came about as, this a birthday present and all, I didn't want to give my friend a picture of a NUDE DRAGONA. And I accepted my idea for what it probably is... dumb and a wee bit oh offensive eh. Yoodle!

(what also probably influenced me somewhat was the drawings of Tim Burton. His drawings look really free. You get what I mean? But they're probably copywrighted... a pun, sir, a pun. If I'm getting my literary terms correct? Maybe not!)

The inking part made the picture a little eh different. I think I lost a part of that accepting spirit I was in that day.

    ...

I hope this is of some use 2 u.

An art style that comes naturally from you pretty much reflects your perception of the world, it might be said so.

What do you think can be said of an artist who makes "extra markiings", may not use an eraser, and still it is appealing? Still it is shown?

You can I ask me, but I'm not sure this is the kind of style you're seeking...

  2. So you are speaking about abstract drawings.

    First sreate a design.Just a plain one.

Second Make some curves or lines or other shapes in your drawing.

Third Use very colorful markers and color it neatly.

Tada! You have an abstract drawing.

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck though. :P
