I have a question about braces?

I already have top braces and bottom bans. The bottom bans are there because I have a wire running behind my teeth. Anyway I have to get my bottom bans taken off tomorrow so I can get new ones put on and bottom braces put on.

My question is: How bad does it hurt to get bottom bans off? What is the process? Is there anything else I should know for tomorrow? Any tips you can give me?

well i have all of that and much more but now everytihing is off and i have straight teeth. i cant remmeber fully everything just go in with a positive thought and remmeber the docters are never there to hurt you whatever happends.

I have braces and i think it really depends on how sensitive you are.

It doesn't hurt too bad. You'll be sore for a couple of days.

And you should take Advil right after you get out of the orthodontist office.

It doesnt hurt atall .They clip the wire with pliers and then snap off the bars + polish the glue away .

I was so scared when i went to have mine off but it was over like that !

im not sure if thats going to hurt it might... most things like that do. but if it does hurt try having a slurpie through a starw the cold and suction help it not hurt

You will be FINEEEEEEEEEE!!! Don't worry about it..it doesn't hurt as much!!!! When I got the bottom bans removed I thought it was going to hurt like crazy but it didn't at all... just relax and stay calm :)

Ok. First of all it will hurt. I am not going to lie. There is no special prepearation other than making sure you brush your teeth really well the night before. I am getting my braces off the day after tomorrow. Hope this helps.

It'll hurt having them off the first day, max, but getting them off might hurt a little. But beyond that just listen to your orthodontist.

it doesn't really hurt to get the bands off, they take pliers and wiggle until they come off.

i honestly think it hurts worse to get the put on.

when it comes to taking off the braces it doesn't hurt believe me i had braces for 3 years (top and bottom) if anything it's painless, and it's a quick procedure

it wont hurt at all i had braces for 4 years and i always thought the top ones hurt alot worse

I was in pain... It hurts like heck! It was utterly horrible!  Best advice is ibuprofen, soup, and yogurt are your best friends at the time! Oh yeah my ortho had these saliva absorbers that tasted horrible, so watch out, and it hurts... braces hurt... :(

i JUST got my braces off about 1 month ago, you see the biggest problem everyone has about braces is they think they hurt getting them off, they do but it is very LITTLE, and for less then one second. The whole process takes about 5 mins and doesn't hurt that bad.

One thing I HIGHLY recommend you do is take TYLENOL an hour before you go in to help reduce any pain you might feel

the worst they can do is p**p off a bracet to move it it, thats is the most pain i had to go threw.dont worry it wont hurt when they take them off the only reason why it hurts when the move it it is so that they dont brake the bracket.

Don't listen to people saying it doesn't hurt Or people saying it Hurts SOOO Bad!! It doesn't hurt much but you will feel a little pain, they just get pliers and pull them off, the cement that they used to put it on there taste pretty bad but you will be happy about getting them off im sure!
