I have a question about camcorders and how to buy a good one.....?

I am wondering which kind of camcorder is good. I used to have a minidv one and it was ok, but now they have dvd ones which would probably be better. I also want one that has a digital camera built in as well. My old one had that but it was only like 2 megapixels and it wasn't very good. Just wondering if you can get a dvd camcorder with a good digital camera built in. Anybody know about these?

If you want to edit your movies, steer clear of the DVD camcorders. The files are a hassle to edit.
