I have a question about ferrets!?

i live in crowborough near royal tumbringe wells in england in the uk does anyone know where there is a ferrit club or breeder because i have some questions also can you tell me all the basics!!!

dont get one from a breeded becausetheydont come spayed or neutured and you ferret will need to be or your gonna have a angry ferret every couple months!!  but type in ferret shelther in (whatever you live) and see what come ups and getting one from the shelter is best cause they already got check ups and they are spayed or neuterd also dont get one at a pet store because they come from mills which means they come form disese and stuff if you have any questions email me at [e-mail]

try joining a ferret forum like ferretsforum.co.uk or google "mercia ferret" n they wil put you in touch with a rescuer near you. you dnt find as many breeders as such, for ferrets, as they arent a "oppertune" pet, like a cat or dog. I got mine mostly from rescues.

its not as easy as the poster above put, in the uk we dont have ferret shelters.but there are a lot of single rescueres out there who can help you. also look on your local gumtree website.

The BFFW was formed in 1999, out of necessity, by Thorr Yngvisson and his late wife Ingga. It had not gone unnoticed that there was no National Organization solely for the benefit of those running Ferret Welfares, Rescues & Sanctuaries. Insurance cover was the biggest problem and after much phoning of different companies a firm specializing in animal insurance was found and thus the BFFW was born.
