Ok, my computer crashed. I had recently been in the process of downloading music from frostwire and ripping CDs onto my new ipod. I've transfered about 600 songs onto the ipod so far.

When my computer gets fixed- and I re-dowload itunes, will my music be erased? Or will it transfer to the itunes? I really don't want to lose all of the music that is on it- especially since I ripped all my CDs and then sold them.

Because I know how when the origional source of the music file is deleted off the computer it doesnt work on itunes anymore.

  1. You say your computer crashed, did they have to replace the hard drive?  If they didn't you will be fine. If they did erase your hard drive and you have all of your music on your iPod, you can take the songs off your iPod and transfer them to your computer. I've had to do this MULTIPLE times! It is really easy with a program called iDump (sounds gross but it works PERFECTLY!). Google iDump and download the latest version! It's free!
