  1. If you can use your ipod as a removable disc, then copy all your song on it then transfer it on the other computer. or you can use your mp3 mp4 i don't knw what you have, what ever that have a memory. but it depens on how large is your music file! hope i helped.

  2. I keep all mine on my laptop, but I back it up to an external hard drive.  You could get an external hard drive to do the switch, otherwise you have to put all the songs on a cd to move them over.

  3. put all your songs on a disk, then upload them on to your laptop. i had the same problem but cudnt put mine on a disk so i downloaded this programme which did it for me, if you cant put your songs on a disk, then download this easy to use programme on your laptop, MEDIAWIDGET, i dont have the link but google search it,ok

    goodluck

  4. there is a software you can get off the internet that will take all of the songs from you ipod and put them on to the computer that the ipod is connected to..

    type ipod reversal software

  5. External Hard drive. Copy and Paste.

  6. you can't using your iPod. if you have an external hard drive, maybe you can

  7. If your library is small you can fit something like 175 songs on a burnable cd (Based on about 4mb per song, which is a pretty good average)... otherwise an external hard drive, they can be pretty cheap if you look around.... try newegg.com... or setting up a home network where you are able to access the desktop from your laptop and copy the files over your home network.

this is the cheapest external I found on there, they are great to have though for extra storage or moving files. They are small too and easy to use.

All you have to do is plug it in and I believe it will show up in your my computer window, at which point you need to find your itunes folder and then move that into there. and just disconnect it and plug it into the laptop. Good Luck.

Another way, but I'm not sure if it will work is to load the songs onto your ipod on the desktop.

I actually just tried it and it worked like a charm.

Download this program on your laptop.

load the music to your ipod from your desktop...

open this program on laptop BEFORE plugging in ipod.

plug in ipod and the songs should show up... select them all and click copy.. .then choose a destination, you could put them on your desktop and then do Add To Library in iTunes.

just checked something else... it will only copy 5 songs at a time. but they go fast and you just have to click a new five by holding shift and clicking one and then the fifth song. ... it is do-able but it iwll take a little while, not too long depending on the song load.
