  1. The handling on the a-spec suspension is an improvment over stock and doesnt significantly reduce ride quality unlike what some people are saying.  The mugen ss suspension is another good option

  2. Depends on what handling is to you. If you had a car with rock solid suspension it would handle like it was on rails but you'd feel every crack in the road.

Before you upgrade your suspension you should know why you are upgrading it. My first suspension modification was a front strut tower bar because I found that my car had excessive body lean and installing the strut tower bar made my car stay flatter during turns and fast lane changes. I may do some springs and struts sooner or later since it's still not perfect and I'd love the benefits of a lower center of gravity.

The best thing to do is not modify anything unless you know exactly whats not up to your standards. If your tires are spinning on launch you either have to take power out of the lower section of the power band, get an LSD, get better tires, or raise the gear ratio of first gear (if you can). Thats just an example but you need to know what you are doing with cars.

  3. just lowering your car would improve handling but the ride comfort would be lost....but can be improved with other things...such as lower control arms, aftermarket sway bars, better shocks and struts, camber kits, and strut bars...

  4. the a-spec suspension doesn't provide too much of a drop so it's great for a regular DD if you live in a place with lots of bad roads. the ride does get harsher than the stock suspension though which helps with body roll. plus it's OEM and the 1" drop doesn't require a camber kit.

  5. You definitely should but start with the basics. You should also make sure that you have the time and money to work on it. With that said, have fun with your car.

  6. Yes the A Spec suspension will improve the handling of your car.  You may also consider some other performance handling parts such as sway bars.  Please check out http://www.street-power.com/

  7. of course but it will ride like c**p. start with bolt on mods such as intake exhaust headers throttle bodies..and then get into good stuff. hondata kpro, cams, turbo or supercharge

  8. thats quite a redundant question isn't it? of course suspension improves handling, thats like asking if force induction increases speed. well anyways i'm not gonna flame you but honestly OEM is ok, but you could get a lot better things with just aftermarket. you could get a strut bar here, lowering springs there, coilovers etc but it's all about what you want in a car. if you want it faster then suspension helps somewhat in terms of wind resistance at higher speeds. if you just want a great handling car then you should've gotten the integra gsr/type r since they handle better than rsx-s. other than that listen to what that guy said about how you should really do your research before modifying your car, just so you can save money and not regret anything done to the vehicle
