I have a question about my fantasy picks. Can someone give me a couple of tips?

I got the Vikings as my starting defense and the Texans as my backup defense.

Are these relatively good picks or should I wait awhile and look to trade?

My QBs are Marc Bulger from the Rams and Jeff Garcia from the Bucs. Are these guys relatively good QBs or should I consider trading them as well?

By the way, I was very fortunate enough to land LT as my starting running back.

  1. Vikings will most likely be best defense in football this year.  Nobody will trade for Texans defense and you wont need them except for a bye week.

QBs are very average and good luck trading them.

  2. I agree with the first answer (Stanley).  Drop the Texans Defense.  Week 8 is the Vikings bye week.  You can grab the Jets defense (v. KC) or the Lions defense (v. Skins) as both teams are playing at home against high turnover teams.  Stick with the Vikings defense, they will be $.

You should not look to trade unless you're trying to upgrade Bulger.  I'd wait and see if Bulger is back to his old self this year (The Rams have some injury risk).  I doubt anyone would want Garcia.  Make sure to keep your eye on the waiver wire for the first couple weeks to see if any good QB's emerge.  Possible pickups could  include Warner, O'Sullivan, Campbell, or even Pennington.

  3. Your qb's are mediocre at best. You should drop/trade the texans d and look for more depth somewhere else.

  4. LT is as good and for sure as they get. he almost never misses a game and his td total is always high. vikings defense is definitely top3 defense. so that was a good pick. with the vikings defense, you really don't need a backup until the bye week so i would drop texans defense for a position player. even for vikings bye week, there should be better options than the texans. marc bulger is a sleeper QB for sure. if he stays healthy and the offensive line keeps up, he'll produce big numbers. jeff garcia isn't a bad backup but there are better options out there. if you can get a trade for better players, then surely trade them. if not, just keep them. they're not bad options at all.
