This is how I see my final grades in my freshman year. By the way my school has a way of showing honors and other classes. H is honors, then is J, then K, then L, then M. J is the highest for bio. And electives have none. Is this really bad? Will it be possible for me to go to Princeton/Harvard/Rutgers/Cornell/Johns hopkins?

  1. I was just at a seminar for UPenn, Georgetown, Duke, Harvard, and Stanford.  Someone in the audience asked "is it better to take challenging classes and get b's, or easy classes and get a's?"  The rep from Harvard said take the hardest classes AND get a's.  I'm afraid that unless you are an athletic prodigy, you won't be getting into any of the colleges you listed anytime soon....

  2. that's not awful but you should try to take more honors classes and try to get your grades a litter higher...they also really look at extracurricular activities--community service, leadership positions in and out of your school, jobs, state sponsored programs, how involved you are and if you can be a leader
